At the centre of this year’s festivities stands the hotel’s annual Artist’s Christmas Tree, designed by acclaimed British sculptor Ian Turnock, whose work is inspired by the natural geometry and structures found in the environment. His intricate designs, often crafted from laser-cut metal, explore the balance between shadow and light, form and stillness, themes that come to life in this installation.

The 2025 Artist’s Tree is an evergreen Normann Fir that embodies renewal and the transition of the seasons. Turnock’s sculptural decorations, made from contrasting metal finishes, will cast shimmering patterns of light and shadow, evoking the stillness of winter and the play between darkness and radiance. The result is a striking centrepiece that captures both the calm and the magic of the festive season. Turnock’s broader body of work reflects a fascination with natural repetition, leaves, branches, and organic symmetry, translating the language of nature into delicate, architectural artworks. His interpretation of 45 Park Lane continues this tradition, transforming the lobby into a gallery-like space where art and celebration meet.
